Initial Visit

During the visit, expect us to:
- Give you sample photos from projects we have done with a similar area
- Take pictures and measurements of your project area
- Ask you about your dream outdoor area
- Ask you about your target budget
Design Proposal
After the initial consultation in your home, we will provide you a design proposal that matches your vision and budget. Expect it within one to two weeks after the initial consultation. The proposal will include the planned design with specifications and measurements, and a visual representation of the completed project.
Your project manager will then meet with you in-person to go over the proposal in detail and address any questions you may have. After agreeing on the design proposal, we shall sign the contract.
Exact Price
One thing we pride ourselves as patio builders is to give our clients an exact project price which leaves no hidden charges or surprise additional expenses after finishing the project. If there are last-minute changes to the design, material, or labor requirements, that’s the only time the project price differs. We do our best to inform the client before it happens and only works as per our client’s approval on the changes in expenses. This way, we are both assured you get what you pay for, fair and square.
Building Permits & Approvals

Materials & Work Hours
Materials are decided early on during the design planning & proposal stage. After it has been decided, we order the materials well in advance of the start of the construction phase. While most materials are easily procured, some need to be ordered in advance, which is why we advise you to not make a change in materials after the design proposal is approved. In case a material is not available, your Project Manager will inform you immediately and provide a list of alternatives.
We understand outdoor construction can create a lot of noise and affect the ambiance of the neighborhood, which is why we strive to work when it’s least disturbing to your neighbors. This may result in shorter working hours. We also work on multiple projects at a given time, which is why you might see our manpower change from time to time. This is so we can keep on track and prevent any lags in the working schedule.
Project Management & Completion
From start to finish, you will work with one dedicated Project Manager. Your Project Manager will be the one helping you plan your outdoor project, choose the materials, and inspect the finished area. If you have any questions or concerns any time before, during, or after the project, your Project Manager will be available at all times through their phone or email.
While we strive to finish the project on time and as scheduled, there may be unforeseen events that may prevent us from working on your project continuously such as inclement weather. We hope for your understanding in such cases. Rest assured, your Project Manager will give you the working schedule and update you of any progress or delays immediately. Your Project Manager will also walk with you through the finished project to ensure you are 100% satisfied with our work.
Project Warranty
Katy Patio prides itself on building lasting structures. To keep our word, we provide a written guarantee that the materials used and workmanship done on your project are of the best quality. If anything happens to the finished project within the warranty, we will come back and repair it.
